Cowra P.A. and H. Association. The annual mooting of tho above was hold on tho 10th inst. The annual report showed that tho Society had pussed through a successful year, A credit balance of £247 8s 9d was shown, and it was pointed out that during the year, besides ordinary ex penses, the sum of £252 15s 7d had been spent ou the now ground. A furthor sum of £1000 is to be raised to place the new ground in working order. "SEW BUTTER MAB.ING PROCESS. A committee ot the Franklin Institute | of Philadelphia, has just made public its report on the Taylor process Cor butter | making. It is recommended that Mr Tay I lor receive-the John Scott medal and pre mium in recognition of the value of his' invention.. In this new process, sweet | cream is poured into shallow pans, the .bottoms ot which are covered with, ab ! sorbent pads. The.pads are composed of. '. heavy white blotting-paper, supported on Turkish towelling, or some .'similar ma terial, and absorb from, the cream nearly all of its. constituents except the fat.
