Wingello. [Newspaper Article] — The Scrutineer and Berrima District Press — 19 August 1892

Wingello.     (From Our Correspondent.) Death. — Mr. John Anderson, an old resident of district, who has been ailing   for some time, died at the residence of Mr. Thomas Ferguson, J.P., Myall House, Wingello, at 9 o'clook on Sunday night. The late Mr. Anderson has been a resident of the district for over 22 years, and was highly respected by all classes for his genial, kind-hearted manner. Some years ago the deceased gentleman acted as clerk and general- manager for the Sutton Forest Saw Mill Company, and, during the last ten years he has been acting in a capacity for Mr. T.   Ferguson. Mr. Anderson was a native of Scotland, and has been in the colony about 30 years. In his younger days I believe he studied Law in Edinburgh, but never practiced it after his arrival in New South Wales. The deceased was an highly edu- cated man, and his death has cast quite a gloom over the district. Mr. Anderson had been living with Mr. T. Ferguson ...
