Death of Daniel O'Council. Tbe vaned and eventful life, of one of the most remarkable men of any age has closed at last. The Cambria faring^ the news which, while it will occasion general regret, was universally expected. Mr. O'Conxell has been a most ^distinguished actor on the political stage for many years. He maintained his bold upon the affections of a warm, sincere, yet excitable and observing people, without intermission ; andoltbough surrounded with dangers and temptations, denounced on the one hand, and ridiculed on the other, lived a life of integrity and honor. He contributed much to thc^uccess of liberalreducation in England, plucked more than one valuable reformTn-om the most stubborn prejudices, and succeeded in giving such a bead to the great movement of '• repeal" that it may be said to be far on the way of its accomplishment.
