In th» report of tho meeting of the Board of Trade on last Saturday oven ing will be found a resolution providing for the appointment of a committee to prepare a memorial to the Legislature ••king that the Internal Improvement Land* be appropriated to the building of auoh railroads as are necessary to the development ot the State, and which hare email grants or none at all. It embodied very folly the sense of the Board, its passage meeting with but one or two negative votes. It also ex presses the sentiments of the people of Northern Minnesota, almost to a man. They feel that they have been grossly wronged by the system which has taken from them thousands of acres of land and transferred them to corporations and enterprises in which as chirms they have not the most rsmoto inter est. They feel that the time has come for them to do something to protect themselves against a continuance of t...
