Nearly all the principal atorsa, offices and private residences of the place were illuminated, nd at many or I ha window were displayed beau tiful transparencies. The large procession 0r Wlde-Awakes, which occupied two or three hours in marching through the elreete, aa seen by the people who thronged the sidewalks, pre. ented splondid appearance. The display or fire- worke was alio very line. One hundred guns were fired by the Geneva Artillery Squad, and the ralnoaville Band, which accompanied tho procession, played admirably.
