SNIPS & ST. JOHNS HliKALb. Booth Case Appealed. The June term of the district court was concluded on Saturday last, most of the, business dispos ed of being: of minor importance, with the exception of the cases against Zack and John Booth. At noon Saturday sentence was passed upon Zack Booth, convict ed of the murder of Juan Vigil, August 1, between the hours of sunrise and sunset, being- named as the time when he is to suffer the death penalty by hanging. An appeal has been taken to the Supreme court, which meets late ;n October, and it is not likely that the sentence against Zack Booth will not be carried out un til some time after that date. The case against John Booth, indicted for the murder of Wiley Berry, was continued for the term, and upon motion by his counsel, and after argument, he was admitted to bail, the bond being fixed at $5000, which up to the present time the prisoner has been unable to furnish, and it is not likely that he will be able to give it.
