Several public meetings nave been held, and spirited resolutions have been adopted expres- sive of the determination of the citizens to open the na- vigation of this beautiful stream. ' We understand that a person has agreed to remove the raft, provided 2l3- 000 are paid Vhen the work is completed and $6,000 in advance.
