Woolford, the home missionary at Waikerie, will occupy Mr Fennell's pulpit in Renmark for the day. Mr Fennell goes on to Adelaide; but will return in time for the services on the 31st. The Rev. B. D. Cavalier, sub-warden of St. Barnabas College, occupied the pulpit at St. Augustine's, Seamark', on Sunday, July 27. Mr Flinders F. Chambers, of the Ren mark post-office and the popular secre tary of the Town, tennis club, left by motor for Morgan on Friday evening, Aug. 1, heading for holidays and matri mony. DISTRICT NOTES. As was generally expected would foe; the case, the-election for the Renmark Hotel Committee last Saturday resulted in the retnrn of the three old members. Voters showed their appreciation of the old Committee's work in the moBt em phatic manner, 160 votes separating the lowest of the old members from the high est of the new nominees. Results were bsunder:—Mtupratt, 337; Howie, 332; Driden, 312.(elected,) Taylor, 152 ; Brand, ISO and Dennett, .138. The largest single bBrge load of wool which haB passed downstream from the Darlingthis season was at the Renmark wharf yesterday. The s.s. Princess Royal (Capt. Orchard, mate Norman McLean,) had in tow the barge Ukee with 1,609bales (equal to 240 tons) aboard. On her up ward journey the Princess Royal towed 275 tons of general cargo for Wilcannia.
