INDIA. Cholera of a virulent type has broken out at Neemueh in her Majesty'^ 45th Be giment; out of forty cases admitted into the hospital, thirty proved fs&al. ! At the Bombay Criminal (Sourt, two of the native directors of the Commercial Finance and Stock Exchange Corporation, have been transported for life, and a third sentenced to four years' imprisonment on a I charge of forgery. ! Bombay was lighted with gas for the first time on the 7th October. I In consequence of the late cylones at 'Calcutta, the Government have determined ! to establish meteorological stations on the Hooghly, that shipmasters may be pre pared. Peace negociations with Bhootan; en voys were unsuccessful, and hostilities will be resumed during the ensuing eold wea ther.
