Milk and Egg Production at Record Levels HARRISBURG — Productior of milk and fggs continued ai record levels for the month oi October when above normal tern peratures prevailed , the State De _^ partment of Agriculture reported today . Milk _production , at 525 million lbs , exceeded any previous October and marked the 25 th consecutive month of record high output , Federal-State surveys revealed . The 376 million egg total for the month was the highest of record for any October- It was the 54 th consecutive month with production exceeding correspond ; ing months in previous years . Egg Production Up 7 % ~ Egg product 1 on for the first ten months of this year stands at 3 , 713 , 000 , 000 and compares with 3 , 475 , 000 , 000 eggs for the same period in 1954 an increase of 7 per cent .
