Increased Sex Drive/ Libido Sharper Thinking Improved Outlook On Life Increased Energy Improved Muscle Tone Decreased Body Fat ... I never thought I would actually win the whole thing. 9? When 26-year old Pacific Beach resident Justin Parker bought a $ 150 raffle ticket to benefit the Ronald McDonald House charities, he was hoping to win an iPod — but won a new pad instead. The two-bedroom, two-bath-room condominium is worth an estimated $ 800,000. Charity officials called Parker while he was barbecuing on a Sunday afternoon in mid-October and named him the winner of the Ronald McDonald“ House for the House” contest and the potential new owner of a new condominium at The Legend, which overlooks at Petco Park, he said. Other prizes included a $ 10,000 prize and a $ 15,000 prize with a second-place winner getting a new Toyota Camry. Smaller prizes were available, including an Apple iPod, he said. “I really had no inclination whatsoever I was going to win anything… but I never, ever th...

We kind of threw everything out the window and started years a long time for a band to wait to issue their debut CD, Murino points out it wasn’t for lack of trying. “I was so nervous, my voice kept cutting out. No sound whatsoever, and then it would just kick back in. I cried afterwards.” Things improved rapidly since then. Kelly would go on to be a major player in the Chicago scene, playing before thousands and opening for numerous big names including Stanley Jordan, Widespread Panic and The Marshall Tucker Band. Leaving town in 1999, she toured for several years, until a traffic accident made her rethink the constant road work. “My dad inspired me to play guitar,” she said.“ I started on piano when I was 8. But I realized I couldn’t take the piano anywhere.” Kelly’s route to become one of the city’s best-known music personalities was indirect but started at home.
