Vinklar- ek tallied 939 votes to Smith's 543, and Place 3 unopposed incumbent Bobby Jenkins had a total of 1213 votes. The following is a breakdown of the tabulation: In Paige, Jenkins received 29 votes, while Smith received 5 and Vinklarek tallied 29. In Bastrop Jenkins polled 823 votes, Smith received 444, and Vinklarek 541. Cedar Creek box results showed Jenkins with 181 votes. Smith with 79, and Vinklarek garnered 119. Watterson voters cast 82 votes for Jenkins, 7 for Smith, and 88 for Vinklarek. As far as city elections were con- cerned, incumbent Adren (Red) Long had 417 vo...
