Wedding Bells.   St. Stephen's Presbyterian Church, Philip-street, Sydney, was the scene of an exceedingly pretty wedding on Wednesday last, when Miss Isabel Crawford, fourth daughter of Mr. Alexander Craw- ford, of Bowral, was united in happy wedlock to Mr. Alfred James Ousby, second son of Mr. Joseph Ousby, of Cowra. The Rev. John Ferguson per- formed the ceremony in the presence of a large number of interested friends. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her father, who gave her away, was charmingly attired in a white lace robe over glace silk, with chiffon roses, the cos- tume being completed with the customary wreath and veil of real lace, the gift of her mother. She wore also a beautiful gold bangle set with tourmalines and carried a shower bouquet gifts of the bridegroom The bridesmaids were Miss Nellie Crawford (sister), and Misses Doris and Bell Crawford (nieces). Our Contributor. THE ATTRACTIVENESS OF AUSTRALIA. [Newspaper Article] — The Wollondilly Press — 2 May 1906

Our Contributor. THE ATTRACTIVENESS OF AUSTRALIA. ; . In'; concluding the examination of the prosperity of ibis Statu and of Australia, it would be well'to contrast the position of our continent to day with that of-tho other peoples of the world. The nnture and nnm her of the immigrants attracted, to Australia will make its destiny. -'As..surely as"the winda blow from plnc'es of high atmospheric pressure to those where it is low, so ' sorely will the ever increasing transit facilities of the/world • cause .-.population to Sow from countries where the, cnuditions of life are liard to those whero plenty, peaoe, and com fort mav be had.
