BLAYNEY MUNICIPAL COUNCIL. The regular fortnightly meeting of tho above council was held ou Wednesday evening. Present — the Mayor, Aldermen Clnrk, Clements, Glasson, Hemsley, Marsh, and Stinson. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. CORRESPONDENCE. The following correspondence was read : — From Department of Lands, stating that a grant of £ 15 had been made far Carring ton Park. Received and referred to Park committee. — From the Butter Factory Company, asking permission to be allowed to lay a drain from the factory underneath Farm-street into Mr. John Glasson's laud for the purpose of running away the butter milk water. Received, aud permission granted. REPORTS. The report of the finance committee, re commending the payment of accounts amounting to £10/14, was read and adopted. ' A report was read from the inspector of nuisances, stating the nightsoil contractor was not carrying out his work either to the satisfaction of tbe ratepayers or himself. The report...
