OBITUARY. MR. PETER MURPHY. :The death occurred last Sunday at Parramatta (N.S.W.), of. Mr Peter Murphy, brother of Mr D. D. Murphy, of Benalla West. He was a former resident of elonalla, and loft here 'bout 36 years ago and went to 'ueenslnnd. He served with the -ueensland Regiment at the .Great War, and whilst with the Regiment in Belgium, he was wounded and gassed. IHe was sent to England for treatment, but never regained his former health. After. the war he re turned to Queenslan,; and remained there until about there' years ago,. He went to Sydney to undergo treat ment for his eyes, which were badly affected through the gassing he re ceived at the war. He was buried at Rookwood cemetery. Many of his' old friends will remember him, as he was very popular' with them all,
