We were much interested in Uie account given ui this morning by Mr. Pliny Al len, on board the St Louis, of a colon)'" now on their way to Wisconsin. The entire colony are composed of the xVllen family. Thcro are three generations, numbering in all 112 souls, or whom fif ty are now on their way, to be followed hereafter by the remainder, li is a touch ing picture to see such a multitude all linked together by blood and affection, embracing the extremes of old age and the tenderest infancy, thus journeying a thousand miles to seek a new dwelling place. The " patriarch of the family ; Philip Allen, is with them, aged 88 years, lie is the father of five sons and three daughters he was ao!dicr of the revo lution, and receives a pension from his country, and has resided in Rochester for the. last twenty-seven ypars. Tho following in formation concerning the Oregon emi grants lias been furnished us by a friend : The First Company consisted of 08 mains over 10 years of age, 57 females over 14 years, 78 males under 10 years. and CO females under 14 years. There were CI waggons, 453 oxen, CIO loose cattle, 172 horses, 185 guns. This com pany passed the CI real Nemaha Sub Agency on the 4th of May, 1315. The Captain is Mr. Everett. The Second Company consisted of 95 males over 10 years. GO females over 14 years, 71 males under 10, and 57 females under 14. There were 435 work oxen, 014 loose cattle, 78 mules and horses, 68 wagons and 172 gns and pitols This company is commanded by 1). Lu tlier, and passed the samo station on the Glh of May last. The Third Company was commanded by L'npt. Parker, and consists of CO males over 10 years of age, and 100 wo men and children.
