All things are going well In church work la our city. The Baptist people here are blessed as never before each of the three churches have recently elected young pastors. The Second Baptist church being the last who elected Rev. M. T. Waters all of these - young men are students of Bishop college. The pastor of the First Baptist and bis choir went to East Mayfield last week and attended the Sabine Valley Progressive District Sunday School convention. Mrs. H. Knox (white) over seer of the big saw mill there issued a check for 1135.00 which she donated to pay the traveling ex- penses of the pastor and choir. The convention was a complete success.
