RINOWOOD. -4--- The ladies efforts on behalf of the Red Cross League in Ring wood have been very successful. A large number of garments have been made, and rot readv for despatch to the central authority, and the good work is still in full swing. A substantial amount in ::ash has also been subscribed. The ambulance classes for irst aid instruction, formed by \Jr Carr have been very success ful. Separate classes have been formed fcr acladies and acntlcmen the ladice' class numbering over fifty. Regular weekly meetings are held, and the classes are mak ing rapid progress under the able tutelage of Dr Langley. There has, so far, been no arrangements made for entertainments in aid of the Patriotic Fund, but a move ment in that direction is on foot.
