THE BUSHRANGERS.   Various and conflicting accounts of these   villains have reached town since our last. With considerable industry we have col-   lected the following particulars on the authenticity of which our Readers may     rely. On Friday evening, the 23d instant,     between 8 and 9 o'clock, Murphy, Cody, and a man named Brown, assisted by some   others, who did not immediately shew   themselves, made an attack on the premises     of Mrs. Smith, at the Tea Tree. On the   dogs barking, Mr. Gill, who rents the   farm, opened a window, and found two muskets presented at him, and a man   constantly called out, " Stand still, stand' still, or we will blow you to atoms !"
