The following awards were made: — First prize and gold medal, E. G. G. Wood Esq., Victoria. Second prize and silver medal. Nor man M. Brooks, Esq., Victoria. Third prize and bronze medal, E. G. A PECULIAR ACCIDENT. A remarkable accident occurred last week to M.r. .7 0. Chambers, of East Malvern, Victoria, who is spending bis holidays with bis sister, Mrs, Ilei licr, of Ganmain. lie was being driv en in a motor car from Coolaiuon back to Ganniaiii,' when in passing over a narrow causeway the car jolted and caused Mr. Chamber's head to come in forcible contact with the hood of the car, a projecting nut splitting his nose right down the centre and frac turing both bones. He was taken to Dr. Bushmanan's surgery for treat ment.
