The letter: goes on :—"If all the returned men ; are treated the same as 'I am as re- \ gards the .pension, and 'finding employ ment, they have nothing to complain a'bout, as all the employers of labor 1 have had anything to do with give pre ference to returned men. I thank your committee tor your kind interest in my welfare." Arrangements were made by the meeting for the .ploughing of several young orchards, that the owners had' left when they enlisted, and sailed to do their bit at the Croat.
