At the Cheltenham Court on Wed- nesday, before Mr. Tanner, P.M.,   Messrs Penny, LePage, Burgess, Bar- nett, Brownfield, and Rogers; J's.P., Arnold Mount was proceeded against or not causing his name to be en- rolled on the Mentone division of the Commonwealth roll. Defendant pleaded not guilty, and said he was only on a visit, to Mor- dialloc from Sydney, to where he was returning within a fortnight. The case was dismissed. A NEIGHBOUR'S DISPUTE ALLEGED ILLEGAL IMPOUNDING.   George Smith, of Keys road, Moor- abbin, was proceeded against by Al- bert E. Grainger for the recovery of £5 damages for illegally impounding two cows and two heifers, and .also or £1 for all fees paid by complain- ant in taking the cattle out of' the pound.   Albert Grainger said that on Sun lay, Flebtirary th, lie saw his cattle in his; paddock.
