The report has frequently been current upon our streets that certain Democrats about town, ourself among the Dumber, were to bo arrested by a portion of Col. These threats, a new edition of which has been lately set afloat in town, have given very little trouble- to those threatened. Those who threaten to take men "without anr authority, are of that class of men who are detested by every patriotic, orderloving citizen. None but the lowest and most degraded wretches, divoid of sense, courage, patriotism, and all the attributes necessary to make a man, will engage in any such operation. PLYMOUTH, INDIANA: Thursday, Octouek 3d, 1SG1. THE ELECTION. The annual election is approaching, and every voter should not fail to attend. The importance of selecting suitable men to fill the different offices, no matter how is significant, cannot be over-estimated. County cCScers are not prof against the seductive wiles of political honor and pecuniary emoluments; and the utmost discretion should be exercised in filling their places ...

PLYMOUTH, INDIANA: Thursday, October 10th, 1SG1. "AX ARREST." Under the above heading the LaPorte Union, of the 2nd inst., gives an account of the arrest of Thompson, in which it says: 'He (Thompson) ha3 been in the habit of hurrahing for Jetf.
