New York , April 27 . —Several big eastern potato operators are making good money In the boom on old potatoes which started a couple of weeks ago and has continued up to the present time . The operators of New _ ork and Boston no doubt have tbe situation in Maine well in hand and they are making the most of it . It is known that one New York firm alone will clean up about $ 20 , 000 on the recent advance . It has been almost impossible for direct buyers of .
