Made Him Pay Up A young fellow went into County Judge Gardners office the other day with two young women and saidbe wanted a license After the license was issued he said he might as well get married while he was there So the judge tied the knot The young fellow asked the judge how much he was In debt 82 50 for the license and 2 50 for the ceremony i said the Judge The newlymarried man pulled out S2 50 put it down on the table and sale he thought that would be enough for the whole thing But the judge didnt see it that way and as the man thought the judge couldnt help him self he would pay no more So the judge calmly tore the license to pieces and told the fellow that maybe he wasnt married after all The bridal party left in anger After awhile the young man thought better of it and returned He dug up the 5 00 with good grace and bad the judge fix up another license and enter it upon the books He wanted the ceremony per formed again but was told that he was married all right before and...
