A in teach ing human scholars, 'one thing at a lime' ia better acquired, than a miaccllaneons jumble of information, so it is in teach ing ateers, and the first object i to trail them to wear the yoke aud to obey the commands of the driver. Four pair of steers can be train! at once, with nearly the samo ease as one. The first step is to hnt them into a well leneed yanl, with an acre of from twclrc to sixteen square rods, where 'the driver can stand in tho centre and make the steers travel round him.
