Victoria. B. C, June *.—The steamer Danube irrived in port this morning with thirty miners from the Edmonton trail, Dease Lake and Glenora. Some had been over one year on the trail. They confirm the tid ings of the wretched condition of the miners at Mud River, and also at Dease Lake to whom Gold Commis sioner Porter of Telegraph Creek has dispatched a con voy: of provisions. One of the returned miners is a young doctor, who ministered- to his companions as i i as was able to do so at Me Dam's Creek.
