Platform of the Union Democracy. Tlie following are the resolutions passed by the State Convention of Vuhn Democracy, held at Columbus, 22d itist. : i. Resolved, That we enter our solemn and deliberate protest agaiast the doctrines of se eesseion and abolition, both springing from a disregard of law and constitutional obliga tions, and we declare tliat it is now, as here tofore, the doctrine of the Democratic party that suns is a Government of Law, and that for any and all wrongs there is a peaceful rem edy through the constitutional channels of leg inlatire action and judicial decision, and that when resiatajige to the laws becomes so for midable as to render them inoperative, it is not only an undoubted right but the impera tive duty ol the Government to use all neces aary force to execute those laws throughout the Union, and to suppress Rebellion. 2.
