The farmers over the county are bringing into town some nice speci mens of their products and one of juht recent occurence is worthy of special mention, that of several heads of milo maize brought in by Sam Lofton from his place one mile west of town and placed on exhibition at Buie & Rollins' real estate office. The specimen is hard to beat in any man's country. Canyon City is enjoying at pres ent a better trade than she has had for the past two years, particularly is this true of the lumber, coal and hardware business. A local lumber dealer informed a News reporter Monday that on Friday of last week he loaded out fifteen wagon loads ! of material which will be utilized for building new Plains homes.
