The county oonrt of this place, on Monday last, disposed of considerable business James Thompson, oolored, was tried for breaking and entering the store? house of Frederick Griffith, at the Hague, and stealing, therefrom, |196 Thompson was represented by Senator O. H. Walker and pleaded guilty. He was sentenoed to the penitentiary for two years. Nelaon Jones was tried for house breaking and larceny, and pleaded not guilty. He was without oounsel and received a sentence of 4 years in the penitentiary.
