AGRICULTURE. HINTS ON SOWING WHEAT. The diminished ravages of insects, anil tho promise of remunerating prices as tlio country recovers from its fiuaucial depres sion, will doubtless lead to much greater attention to wheat growing. The proi pect is, that more ground will be sown to wheat this month than in any former September since our country was settled A few hints to those about to eow wheat ruay be useful. Prepare the nround well. If mau and team labor bo not abundant, better con ccutrate your effort upon twenty acres than to " run over" twenty-live. The yield from the smaller area well prcpar cd, will bo quite as great as upon the larger one poorly tilled, and you will save the seeding and harvesting of the extra fivo acres. A thorough pulverizing of the earfaee with tho plow and harrow, and with the roller if needed, is of great ad vantage to wheat. Ouo good plowing, turning tho surfaco deeply under, is desi rcable, whether for Summer fallow or corn land. Let the after plowin...
