Niekerson came in from the east yes terday and were around looking up business matters today. In a short interview tbey stated to a reporter that there was no truth in the rumor that the Montezuma hotel was to shut down. On the contrary a large sum of money will be ex pended in repairs and improvements and bringing it up to old standard of a few years ago. As to the Denver &E1 Paso road Mr. Robinson said his company would only bo too glad to see it come in and start railroad building and the development of the territory along.
