We found our new residence a convenient one, aad we are, upon the whole,"a* well as could be expected." The air is salubrious and in vigoratin , if we nay judge by the hungary looks of the Dem ocrats, as they passed us. The soil it fruitful, and produces a fine crop of regrets and unavailing res olutions, but we are determined not to cultivate de spair.
