COMMISSIONER PAYS TRIBUTE ITH reference to the recent failure of the Harris County Bank & Trust Co. wherein the commissioner of Banking took charge to pay off the Depositors the Commissioner writes: "It is gratifying to be able to say that the closing of this bank caused no' disturbance and the only trouble has been to get the de- positors to call and get their money and the fact is a tribute of the public to the success of the Guaranty of Deposits Law."
