POLICE INTELLIGENCE. EDEN, TUESDAY, 4TH DECEMBER, 1860.   (Before John Lloyd, R.N., Dr. King, and G. P.   Keon, Esqrs., J.P.'s.) M'CORMICK V. FALKNER.—No appearance. Mr.   Manby, on behalf of plaintiff, contended that the   case could not be entered as one of no appearance. According to law it was a non-suit, and if their wor- ships required an authority he should be most happy to furnish one.—Verdict accordingly. Plaintiff non-     suited.   SCHULTZ V. BROWN.—This was a summons to re- cover 5l. 18s. 1d., for goods sold and delivered. There were a great many accounts and receipts   handed in by the defendant, which went to dispute some of the particulars of the plaintiff's bill. TASMANIAN NEWS. CAPTURE OF MR. H. VALENTINE, OF ROSS.   (Abridged from the Hobart Town Advertiser.) On Saturday afternoon, between one and two o'clock, Mr. Hamilton, the Superintendent of the City Police, and Mr. Weale, Sub-Inspector of the Rural Police, accompanied by Sub-Inspector Dorsett, District Constables Bryon and Jones, Detective   Constables Morley, M'Guire, and Vickers, and assistants, proceeded to Temple House, the residence of Mr. Isaac Solomon, corner of Liverpool and   Argyle-streets, where it was supposed the fugitive   was concealed.
