DEATH OF A GERMAN BARON. [»» Max von Luttwitz, commonly known in Sydney as Dr Max, died suddenly at the German Club while reading the news- paper. The deceased's family held large estates in Bohemia and suffered severe loss during the Austro-German war, with the result that its memebers became impoverished. Von Luttwitz, who was a Doctor of Law of ______ University, proceeded to England where he engaged in private tuition, Subse- quently he came to Sydney upon receiving appointment to the Sydney Grammar School and since 1889 he has filled the position of evening lecturer in French and _____ at the Sydney University. he was __ years of age at the time of his death.
