The following dis patch from 31. Hammond acquaints geogra phers with the discovery of another great ContralAfrican lake whence the Nile issues, whieh ba been named by Mr. Baker the Al bert Xyanza. The Royal Geographical So rirtv have recently awarded to Mr. Baker their Victoria gold medal for his spirited undertaking, entirely at his own cost.
