There are but very few negroes left either at Wailuku or Spreekels ville, most of them having drifted to Honolulu. Whitman & Co., a new but very reliable Honolulu business firm Is reaching for the Maui trade. See Next Monday, Aug. 12, is a holiday, and there may be a game of base ball at Wells Park, at Wailuku, between the Wailuku and Tuuneno teams. Kinnion, the Porto Itican who as saulted Garfield Cooper, the colored Tennesseeau with a hoe, was sen tenced by Judge McKay to two months' imprisonment at hard labor.
