I hare often thought that poultry bleeders ought to write more about poultry for the benefit of fanners, than they do, and so I have concluded to tell your readers something about a fowl, which I think is one of the best fowls for a farmer, that is now bred. I refer to the pure bred Brown Leghorn. Of all the breeds that we have, there are but few, if any, that are more popu lar at the present time than this breed.
