BRIDAL GOWN OF WHITE BROCADED SATIN Former Boorowa Girl Weds Prior to the celebration of Nuptial Mass on Saturday, 20th January, 1951, the mar- riage was solemnised between Carmel, elder daughter, of Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Watson, of Kogarah, and Peter, youngest son of Mrs. C. Holohan and the late Mr. J. Holohan, of Kogarah. Rev. Father McAuliffe officiat- ed at the ceremony and the Mass was served by the bride's brothers, Alvyn and Eris. During the signing of the reg- ister Mr. Fred Mason rendered Gounod's 'Ave Maria. ' The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her father, wore a very full skirted gown of white brocaded satin made with a square neckline and scal- loped collar. The fiingertip three-tiered veil fell from a plaited headdress made from the same material as the frock, and she carried a bouquet of white, pale lemon and pale pink waterlilies. The bride was attended by her sister, Audrey, who wore a frock of oyster-pink satin made with a full skirt and Bertha collar and ...
