Webb, champion of a few years ago, came back to his old. form thereby \ taking the honours for this year also. Prom the commencement of the cham- pionships Webb has proved himself the model of consistency andi has defeated all his opponents in the easiest of fash- ions. The semi-finals were played on Sat- urday last. Webb downing O'Brien 31-17, McWhinnie defeated Hill 31-19. Both these games were a good exhibition. Hill, after leading 19-18, went off his game by trying to force the game in- stead of playing drawshots.
