THE HORSE SECTION. INTERVIEW WITH THE JUDGE. The Judge of tho horse section, Mr James Kennedy, of Toowoomba, when Interviewed, said the blood section was a good class, especially the stallions and brood mares. There were, strange to say, no young thoroughbreds, and he considered that It would be a wise procedure to offer a prize for this class. Of tho draughts there were only two that could be called good, as the others were nothing out of the ordinary. Thero were no active draughts to speak of, excepting a Suf folk Punch that was shown. There were no draught lnarcs or fillies. Com ing to the ironies, ho said they were a first-class lot, as srood as could lie seen on any show grounds. The classes for 12 hands, 13 hands, and 14 haiids were exceptionally good, but a mistake was obvicus In that some of tho ponies were not exhibited In their legitimate classes. The hacks were a good lot, and ' several of the horses were as good as could be found in any show ring. In hacks up to 11 stone...
