Saturday last was rather a busy day in the way of trials and prosecutions for our civil community, A man from the east part of Starke county was brought before one of our Justices of the Peace charged with forging an order on the hous2 of Westervelt & Huett for S23, upon which he hail succeeded in procuring that amount in goods. After an investigitioa of his case he was held to bail in the sum of 8500 for his appearance at the next term of the Circuit Court, in default of which he was committed to Jail. Another was charged with grand larceny, in stealing several article from the store of J. Brownlee & Co., and after his trial and failing to givi bail for 8503, he was also committed to Jail.
