The report Is encouraging, and shows that an earnest nttcmpt Is being made to Impartially enforce the revenue laws. In the old days of the Kansas-Ncbroaka troubles, Connecticut passed a "personal liberty bill," but never had occasion to en. force its provisions until the present week.
