WEEKLY A NA JOURNALMINER Pioneer Paperof Arizona. PRESCOTT, ARIZONA, WEDNESDAY. JULY 20, 1904. Forty-First Year MINTNG G. P. Harrington has arranged for having water hauled by rail from Mayer to Crown King and then pumped through pipe to the Oro Bella property in order to run the mill. While at first glance it might not look feasible to haul water a distance of twenty or thirty miles for mining operations, Mr. Harrington has figured out the expense and finds that in stead of drawing on the treasury for $12,C00 or S15.000 per month to con tinue operations in the mine, be can provide this money from the product of the mill and have considerable left for dividends for the stockholders. The mill when in operation turns out about SI, 000 per day. By using the water over again and with what is obtained from the mine he can oper ate the twenty stamps continuously on two car loads of water per day. Mr. Harrington is conducting opera tions in the mine in a way whereby he hopes to develop an ...
