SUI CESTION M tIETO 1IOL F1 IGHlT SCHOOl II 80OCILU S11 Bogalusa boys and men who are compelled to work during the day are not going to be forced to go through life without an education if the suggestion made last week is carried out. It was suggested that a night school be started, to hold one or two sessions a week where reading, writing. spelling and arith metic will be taught. It has been discussed among several business men and city officials and to date it has the hearty approval of all. The suggestion was to have about two night session each week in at least two sections of the city. It has been shown that this would cost but little; would afford every mhan boy and woman who could not read. write or spell to take advantage of an education that no one should be without. Bogalusa being a manufacturing city there are a number of men who were forced to go to work when young and were deprived of' being taught these much needed requirements. And today there are in Bogalusa many you...
