The most frequent of external causes are draughts, wet or cold Wt, ot going from hot rooms suddenly into cold one . More freqnently there is an itiW cause-^-namely the stagna- . tion ojf the bl"od caused by constipation or biliousness. Almost the .first symptom ia the feeling of cold in the1 feet and increased discharge from the nose. No one err takes cold unless consti- pated, or Exhausted, and having what we call mal-nutritlon, wl>icb is attended with impoverished blood and exhaustion of nerve force.
