Three (3) teams who were _previously undefeated before this week have all. been upset. First to fall was the faculty, who lost to the Mystics, and then the Perry Esquires upset the Bud Brigade in a tough overtime game. Woman's Viewpoint Strategic Kick-off by Pam Babcock Sports Writer You may find this hard tc believe, but the game of football involves more than rum and coke. How much more, I'm not really sure. But neither are the footbal] players. Football is actually a very simple game. There are two teams of eleven men-each, two goals at opposite ends of a striped field and one ball. The object of the game is to grab the ball and run all the way to the other team's goal and make a touchdown. Simple. But - the guys decide to confuse the game with all kinds of penalties, signals and formations so that we co-eds wouldn't be able to understand_, rhe trouble is that not many guys :an understand it either. Right now, I'd like to tell you about the most foolish part of the game - the beginning. The game is started with a kickoff, which happens something like this: The kicking team lines up across the field. The other team is spread suspiciously over its half of the field. While* everyone gapes ...
