, Indiana County for Buchanan. Extract of a letter to the Pennsylvanian from ft friend: IxDiiXi, Dec. 29, : 1847. : At a Democratic meeting held last week, in Kittaning, where I reside, resolutions were passed in favor of James BccujLXis as the Democratic candidate for President in 1818. Gen.' Robbbt Our, was elected Senatorial delegate, and H. W. Lee, Esq., Representative delcgate^—both beingithe avowed friends of Mr. BucaiSA^f. li At the Democratic meeting held in this place. (Indiana, Indiana county,) last evening, [the nomination of General Ona was concurred in, and Simusl S. Jamisox elected Representative delegate. He is a warm friend of Mr. - Buchitjax. We have thus three counties out of four in this Senatorial district, and there is no doubt that Clearfield will concur in Onn's nomination. Tlie Western counties are nearly unanimous for ^Pennsylvania' s favorite son."
