4 HONOLULU, JULY ii. 1869. H. D. M.' Frigate Galatea arrived on the 21st instant from Tahiti, via Hilo. The only merchant vessel which arrived daring the past week is the Hawaiian bark R. W. Wood, with an assorted cargo, from Bre men, after a long passage of 1SS days. A few talcs (to arrive) have been made from this cargo, which comes to a dnll and heavy m arket. Tho British brig Byiantium has cleared for Victoria, with salt, sugar, molasses, etc. The Alaska is loading for Portland, and will have quick dispatch. The Ethan Allen has dis charged her cargo, and will be laid on for Ean Francisco. The sttamer Idaho will be dne from San Francisco on the 2nd of August, and will leave for that port on Saturday, the 7th. It is probable that some vessel chartered for the Am. Guano Company, may bring ns a mail prior to the steamer's arrival. The Hawaiian whaling brig Onward returned from a Northern cruise, clean, and li now ready to rail again nnder the command of Capt. Nor ton. Capt. Norton in long and well known a a Terj successful matter, and the owners of tbe Onward hare good reason to be Satisfied -with bit acquisition in tbeir service. II. B. M.'s Frigate Galatea sailed on tbe 2d Inst, for Japan. Tbe clipper ship Robin Hood arrived yesterday, nnder charter to tbe Amer lean Quano Company.
